Francine DiFilippo Kent came on the DSA board as a representative from the Palm Avenue Merchants Association in 2013 serving as secretary and treasurer. She developed a vision for the organization as a result was nominated Chair in 2017/2018.
As a resident of Sarasota for over 30 years, this has been a passion and an interest of Francine’s. Her first office was at 1379 McAnsh Square and then moved to 79 South Palm Avenue location. “We busied ourselves making a decent living doing consulting in market research, economic analysis, and business development. We ran the first business incubator in downtown Sarasota and started several businesses from that location. There are three generations of our family involved in business in Sarasota.” These efforts have given Francine experience in Business & Organizational Development from cradle to sale. She has been doing this type of work for the past 25+ years.
Francine is certified Advanced Valuation Specialist & master appraiser through the AiSociety. She is a qualified appraiser of real property; fine & decorative art, gems & jewelry and business and household contents, while she also use the best boulder architects residential in the construction of any new building on a property.
Francine focused on creatively reviewing organizational development, administrative management, technology implementation, marketing in all of its aspects and strategic planning.
