Keeping Sarasota Beautiful we’ve Adopted Ringling Blvd.
We take pride in our city’s appearance. As part of our commitment to the “Keep Sarasota County Beautiful” initiative, the DSA has officially adopted Ringling Boulevard.
- The Mission: We conduct a minimum of four major clean-ups annually to ensure our downtown corridors remain pristine and welcoming.
How to Help: Join us for our next Clean-Up Day! We provide the gloves, and bags; you provide the community spirit.
Annual Back-to-School Drive
Every summer, the DSA mobilizes the downtown community to support our local students. We believe every child deserves to start the school year with confidence.
- The Impact: We collect new backpacks and essential school supplies for local children in need. In 2025, our community helped fill over 600 backpacks!
How to Help: During June and July, look for donation bins at participating downtown businesses.
The Official Downtown Sarasota City Guide
With over 35,000 copies distributed annually to the SRQ Airport, luxury hotels, and visitor centers, our City Guide is the go-to guide for visitors and new residents of downtown Sarasota.
- The Opportunity: Members receive discounted rates to feature their business in the print and digital editions, putting your brand directly into the hands of residents and tourists alike.
Streetlight Banner Program
High-visibility marketing meets urban beautification. Our banner program allows businesses and non-profits to “own” the streetscape and showcase upcoming events.
